Weight loss has become a major concern among most ladies. Between taking care
of the kids and ensuring effective management of the family, it seems that we
are the most over-weight population. Notwithstanding, most of us have also tried
several workout programs, from dancing with Richard Simmons on the TV to
registering for a workout program in the gym center.
However, going through the hard work involved with these programs for a few
days and watching the response of your body system, it is easy to lose
enthusiasm and wonder if a miracle will happen. But all hope is not lost yet. A
lot of people have found a great difference between taking a routine workout
program and engaging in an effective outdoor activity. While the former will
sometimes be boring and render you very weak, the later is all fun, will boost
your spirit and you will also enjoy it while you lose a lot of calorie in the
process.

Award-winning American plus-size designer brand
IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel,
http://www.igigi.com, has launched The Art of Fashion in Motion campaign, a
trailblazer montage of color, movement, and art inspired by the great
revolutionary abstract expressionists like Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, and Lee
Krasner.
The Art of Fashion in Motion is a strong visual extension of the company’s
more-than-a-decade long mission to transform the world’s view of beauty. The Art
of Fashion in Motion is to the plus-size fashion world what the contribution of
these revolutionaries has been to the art world; a groundbreaking, exciting and
out-of-this-world approach to the way we perceive plus-size women and fashion.
In a visual feast that tells the story of wearable art designs, plus-size model
Kailee O’Sullivan appears as a woman of multiples facades. She is a canvas of
seductively moving curves where fashion and art merge as one to create a truly
eye-opening campaign for an industry that is still believed to be stuck in the
time of the muumuus.

We all know that a man appreciates when you get all gussied up for him and whet his appetite in something short and lacy.
Gulp.
If you are anything like us, you cringe at the idea of going to Victoria's Secret and finding something to wear with a man. The dressing room mirrors alone are a nightmare. All we seem to see in them are the back rolls and dimpled cheeks that the down-light so wonderfully enhances. The pictures of gorgeous models on the walls around you are enough to make you ditch the lingerie idea entirely and go straight to the food court for an insecurities-soothing ice cream cone.

These rigid thought patterns actually trap people in the active throes of Borderline Personality Disorder until and unless they get professional help to begin to learn how to think beyond the distorted and constricted magical thinking of a primitive concept of "self" and "other". The all-or-nothing, black-and-white, cognitively distorted thoughts that are a hallmark of Borderline Personality Disorder begin in early childhood and are compounded over time resulting in people with BPD, in adulthood, being triggered back to past unresolved psychological woundedness that has its center in what I refer to as the core wound of abandonment.

Did you grow up believing that if only someone REALLY loved you in the way you needed to be loved, then you would feel happy, safe, lovable and worthy?
Certainly being truly loved by parents goes a long way toward supporting children in feeling safe and lovable, but it is not the whole story. Even if your parents did love you the way you needed to be loved, if they didn’t role-model loving themselves, then it is likely you absorbed their forms of self-abandonment – judging themselves, turning to various addictions to manage their feelings, and making others responsible for their feelings and sense of worth.

I grew up with a very angry mother who would attack me out of the blue. As a highly sensitive only child, the fear and heartbreak of being treated so unlovingly was unbearable. So rather than feel the hurt, I numbed it out by learning to stay in my head rather than being present in my body, and by focusing on caretaking others' feelings. The only way I could survive was to not know that I was being so hurt.

There are tons of watch models out there with a lot of exciting features, but navigating the exact specifications for each timepiece can be a pain. With a little bit of know-how (aka this article!) watch hunting can become more exciting than shoe shopping. After all, how many pairs of shoes have diamond accents?
The first step is to find a fantastic brand with a history of quality, such as Breitling watches, which have been established in refining watches since 1884.

Ah the teenage years. They creep up on parents out of nowhere, and explode with a hard slap of reality in the face, usually in the form of moody behavior, snide comments, and flurries of rolled eyes. Children who once worshiped and idolized their parents suddenly recoil at the thought spending time with them or listening to anything they say. The teenage years can be a particularly turbulent time for mums and their daughters, and many mums, forgetting how difficult their own teenage years were, scratch their heads and wonder: why are teenage girls so difficult?

Helplessness is a very difficult feeling. It can even feel like life or death to those of us who were left to cry for hours as babies, with no one coming to help us. Because we were so helpless over ourselves as babies and small children, it can trigger feelings of panic. It's hard to remember, in these moments when fear is triggered, that as adults, we are not helpless over ourselves.

A milestone that many around the world set out to one day accomplish, should
only be accompanied by the best and personalized ideas. Not only should they be
memorable but personalized, so they can incorporate the dynamic resemblance and
atmosphere of that special memory. Whom ever plans for the occasion should
always take into consideration the time needed for planning and following up
with contacts, time and availability is very scarce and if it will include
family and friends, using the right communication is essential for accommodating
those who have been near and dear in the couples personal life.
Personalization is the key in making this moment a true milestone, for every
couple has a distinctive and different experience; even though they all share
the joy of memories bestowed upon them that day. It should be no exception that
this 50th wedding anniversary goes without joy and warmth in the hearts to the
heirs of another blessed anniversary.

There was an interesting article in The Atlantic, entitled "How to Land Your Kid in Therapy: Why the obsession with our kids' happiness may be dooming them to unhappy adulthoods. A therapist and mother reports."
The article is about the way many parents focus much of their energy on being there for their children, but their children end up feeling lost and empty.
One of the issues I've written about extensively is that half of good parenting is being there for our children, and the other half is being there for ourselves. This article says nothing about parents becoming loving role models of personal responsibility for filling their own emptiness. In fact, these parents, who are obsessed with their kids' happiness, are likely addicted to filling themselves up through their children - not a healthy situation.
This article validates what Inner Bonding is all about - learning how to take responsibility for your own feelings. The problem with these lost adults is that their parents always took responsibility for them, rather than role-modeling how to fill themselves up.
Feeling lost and empty is the result of a lack of love. As the cartoon drawing shows, these kids received an abundance of love from their parents. But they never learned how to fill themselves with love through a personal source of spiritual guidance. They never learned how to access their own higher self to guide them in what is loving to themselves, so they end up feeling lost.

How do I stop my dog barking?
It's a question the majority of canine owners will have pondered at some point. The thing is, all dogs bark to some degree. It's their main method of communication with us humans and in many ways you should be more worried if your canine chum is completely silent. However, if your dog is barking excessively and seemingly for no reason, then you're right to want to do something about it. Not only can barking get pretty tiresome for you and your household (not to mention the nosey
neighbors), but may well be the sign of a more serious underlying problem.
Here are some general pointers to keep in mind – but of course if you're in any doubt, the vet should always be your first port of call.

In the United States of America, citizens celebrate the fourth Thursday of November as Thanksgiving. As a legally recognized holiday, government and schools close in recognition of this day. Families meet to feast together and watch football. While the traditional turkey dinner mimics the intent of the original Thanksgiving meal, many celebrants question why we celebrate the holiday.
To discover why the entire country celebrates Thanksgiving, one must travel back in time to September 1620. Pilgrims wishing to escape religious persecution in Europe sailed to the New World in 1620. With the intention to land in the colony of Virginia, their ship The Mayflower instead headed north and landed on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, in November 1620.
Faced immediately with winter’s inclement weather, the Pilgrims were unable to
erect shelters or plant food. Half of this zealot community sacrificed their
lives that first, harsh winter. Miraculously, a Native American rescued the
Pilgrims in 1621. Samoset and English speaking Squanto taught the surviving
Pilgrims how to hunt wildlife and plant corn. In October of 1621, the Pilgrims
harvested their crops. To celebrate their gratitude, the settlers invited the
Indians to join them for a three-day feast. With thanksgiving to Almighty God
for His blessings and the abundant harvest, the community surrounding Plymouth
generously shared the bounty they grew, trapped, and caught.

may be going back to school this fall without an essential tool to help them
be their very best: a nutritious breakfast.
Statistics Canada reports that more than 700,000 children live in
households that don’t have access to enough food. Comparably, Food Banks Canada reports that nearly 900,000 people rely on the assistance of a
food bank in order to have enough to eat each month. Thirty-eight per cent of
those assisted are children. Half of the 370,000 households helped by food
banks are families with children.

Keeping the Flame Alive Doesn’t Have to be Expensive
Often, people will groan when they hear the word “budget,” generally because it is billed as a financial strategy that is difficult to stick to. The truth is that budgeting can be simple. It’s a great way to keep one’s finances in line and still have fun, whether single or as part of a couple. Those who are watching their pennies might not often dine on lobster and French champagne or buy the latest and most popular technological gadgets, but fear not.

"We can't seem to connect anymore."
This is one of the most common complaints I hear in my counseling practice.
We all know that it is generally easy to connect at the beginning of a relationship - before all the protections and defenses come up. But what do you do to reconnect once you feel disconnected from each other?
In order to answer this, let's first look at what creates disconnection.

Everyone is looking for great clothing that is going to make them a standout for the upcoming school year. Not only is everyone looking for stylish clothing, but also fashionable jewelry and accessories.
Starting back to school in August is extremely hot. Cute summer dresses are great for back to school as long as they meet the standards of the school you are attending. A cute dress is so comfortable for a typical school day. A sun dress paired with a pair of sandals is perfect and super stylish for school. Another great thing to remember, is that most dresses can be worn into fall by just adding a simple light jacket and again a pair of sandals or in some cases a pair of cowboy boots.

August has come and gone and everybody from young children to
college students are now back at school. Most parents are breathing a
sigh of relief! While back-to-school time means a bit of relief for
parents as well as busier schedules for kids, it also means a ton of
activities that can be harmful to the planet. Whether you're the parent
of a small, school-aged child or whether you're a blossoming college
student, here are some ways to make back-to-school more eco friendly.
Use Eco Friendly Lunch Packaging
If you carry your lunch with you regularly, don't use disposable
bags and other plastic-based packaging. Invest in a reusable lunch sack
and reusable containers for food and beverages. If you do use
single-serving pre-packaged portions, be responsible about recycling
them. If you purchase your lunch daily, carry reusable utensils with you
so that you don't need to use disposable plastic ones each day.
Limit Your Back-To-School Shopping
We all need some new things for back-to-school, but if you pay
attention to the media you'll end up thinking that you need to replace
every single item that you own just because it's time to start classes
again. Only buy what you really need to go back to school. Set a budget
and stick to it. Also, consider hitting thrift stores to reduce your
consumption of made-to-order materials. Finally, for what you do need to
buy, make an effort to select postconsumer-made goods or eco-friendly
brands.

As frugal SAHM (stay at home moms), getting ready to send our kids back to
school for another school year, there are a few tips that I recommend that can
make the transition smoother, while saving money and even teaching your kids a
thing or two about tightwad living.
1. Stock Up on Supplies
Late July and the month of August are the best times for a SAHM to get school
supplies for literally pennies on the dollar. Most SAHMs get what is on their
child's supply list and are happy with their savings. But then, most moms also
run out of sharp crayons, filler paper, notebooks and scissors (anyone here
actually remember where their scissors are?) by mid-year. Be a frugal SAHM and
spend a little extra money now to stock up on supplies to last you through the
entire school year.

All of us have some characteristics and behaviors that fall into the category of narcissism. Narcissism is on a continuum from mild, occasional, and subtle to the more ubiquitous, obvious or extreme behaviors of a Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Since narcissism is likely a part of everyone's ego wounded self, it is helpful to your personal growth and development to be aware of your own level of narcissism.

Post-traumatic stress disorder is defined as the development of psychological symptoms following a traumatic event. This disorder was actually first recognized as far back as World War 1 where soldiers were seen to be suffering anxiety, flashbacks and nightmares which lasted weeks, months and even years after the experience of combat. Back then this condition was labelled shell shock.

You value your loved ones, you value your friends, you value your business, but how much do you really value YOURSELF? For healers and many other heart-based service professionals, such as massage therapists, life coaches and Reiki channels, the honest answer is not very much.
Do Any of these 6 Signs Apply to You?
1. Not knowing what your real Needs are
Take a piece of paper and a pen and write down 10 of what you FEEL your main personal needs are, completely irrespective of what you or others THINK they should be. This can include mental, emotional, physical and spiritual needs. Now read through that list and tick all those needs that are being met already… A bit sparse on the ticks?
